I’m Ty, a native Dallasite with a penchant for stylish statement jewelry, sky-high stilettos, and blindingly-bright colors. I’m also single-handedly raising a rambunctious 6-year-old boy, so my life consists of LBDs and ABCs, high heels and Hot Wheels®, and accessories and action figures, among other things. I’m living proof that moms don’t have to be confined to a daily uniform of yoga pants and t-shirts.
I’ve always enjoyed writing, so words & wardrobes is a personal style blog that combines my love of writing with my love of fashion. I consider my style to be constantly evolving, and I like experimenting with my wardrobe to find what works for me and my lifestyle.
I have a degree in Journalism with an emphasis in advertising and a minor in marketing from the University of North Texas. I’ve done some freelance writing and have also written for The Dallas Morning News.
