weekday wardrobe: more shorts

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you know that I've been on a mission to add more shorts to my wardrobe. As much as I love my skirts and dresses, sometimes they're just not practical when I'm tending to a 6-year-old and a 2-month-old. I recently picked up three pairs of shorts at Target; I wore one pair in my last post and am wearing another pair in today's post. I accessorized with a snakeskin-print belt since the burnt orange color in the belt matches the burnt orange color of the shorts, and since the belt also has red, I added a red ring and clutch. I like the way the look came together, but the next time you see these shorts, they may be a little shorter...

  6. @EJae: Yes, yes, yes, they are! They're more comfortable than a lot of my heels.

  7. I am loving all the shorts looks! I seriously need to take a cue from you and start wearing shorts, too. I just need to work on my pregnancy weight first. Haha! You look amazing, and I love the shoes!

  8. I think the length of the shorts look amazing on you as they are. When Fall rolls back around you can throw on some opaque tights underneath for added warmth.
