weekday wardrobe: pumps and a bump

One of the frustrating things about pregnancy is that you have to temporarily restrict (or at least limit) a lot of things—caffeine, alcohol, sushi. Sigh. But one thing I haven’t given up—at least not yet—is my stilettos, equilibrium be damned. I’m in my fourth month, so the bump isn’t protruding the way it will be in another four months, so I’m rocking the heels while I can. I’m also quickly becoming BFFs with all things elastic, seeing as how the rapid expansion of my waistline has starting making my clothes a bit uncomfortable. This skirt has an elastic waistband and I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to wear this sweater when my stomach gets bigger, so I think I’m off to a good start with this whole dressing-the-bump-for-cooler-weather thing.
