checking in

One of the reasons I started words & wardrobes was so that I could have something to call my own. When it comes to single motherhood, sacrifice is the name of the game, so this blog was something that I considered all mine. For the last 13 months, it has been a little corner of cyberspace that I could call my own. But the reality is that you guys are a huge part of words & wardrobes. Whether you silently lurk from behind your computer screen or comment on nearly every post, you play a role in the progression of this blog. With that said, I’m coming to you today asking you for your words of advice. What would you like to see more of on words & wardrobes? Less of? What features do you love? Which ones could you do without? If you could tell me anything about words & wardrobes, what would it be? Feel free to leave a comment or e-mail me at wordsandwardrobes@gmail.com.

  1. I'm one of your silent readers, commenting once. I just ask that you continue to do what you've been. As a writer myself, I can appreciate your abilities and how you dress like you're going somewhere rather fancy, daily. All of it is inspiring...including the fact that we're close in age.

  2. Hello! My name is Anna! I am 34 years. I live in Russia, a suburb of St. - Petersburg! I really like your style of dress! To please the motto of the three things! Very wise! Myself trying to follow this rule! Each morning begins with a preview of your blog! Thank you!

  3. I love triple play Thursday. I find it to be inspiring the way you rework a piece. I also love how you've added fashion tips at the bottom of each post. And it's so cute how you add a picture of Micah every now and then, especially since he is such an important part of your life. You're doing a great job, I love your blog!

  6. I am also a silent reader, and have been reading your blog for a few months. I love the triple play also, and I can't believe you buy most of your clothes from thrift stores! This has inspired me to also start shopping at thrift stores something i said i would never do. I just love the fact that you don't have to spend a million bucks to look like a million bucks. Oh I also used to love when you had the pictures of the supporting cast, which i haven't seen lately. Thank you.

  7. @ Anonymous: Thank you so much! I'm glad to know that my outfits inspire you!

@ Anna: Wow! Thank you so much!

@ACNimmons: I'm glad you like my remixes! I just have to get back to adding 'words of advice' to the bottom of each post. As for Micah, sometimes he just wants a moment in the spotlight too! LOL! Thank you for your support!

@ Candyce Nicole: Of course your opinion is important, girl! And it really means a lot to me!

@ Shalanda: Yep, I'm back. I was crazy to think I could stay away for long. You'll be receiving a response to your email soon. :)

@ Anonymous: I love me some thrift stores. I'm trying to work on mixing my thrift store purchases with mass retail purchases (like Zara) to elevate my style. I will definitely bring back the supporting cast. I kind of miss it too!
