It’s been one year since I sat in front of my computer and made the decision to start words & wardrobes. It started as a way to cope with the loss of my job (and the daily structure that came with said job), but has morphed into a photo album slash journal slash fashion notebook, in which I have disclosed deep secrets and below-the-surface insecurities, raised my voice about issues in the blogging world, and even temporarily thrown in the towel (before quickly remembering that I wasn't born to be a quitter). I’ve shared my fashion fails, my styling tips and even my awkward facial injuries. It’s been quite a ride.
And I’m not ready to hop off just yet.
I have so many goals that I want to reach with words & wardrobes—little ones like posting on a more consistent schedule and sharing more of my everyday life, and big ones like interacting with my readers more and buying a better camera so I can take higher quality pictures. The support of my readers means a lot to me and I really want to give words & wardrobes my all, so if there’s anything you want to see more—or less—of on the blog, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Three hundred and sixty five days. We made it to one year. Yes, I said we. In addition to my little brother who has been taking my pictures and my mom who was probably my only reader for a while, you all have helped me make it this far. So thank you. Thank you for reading, browsing, lurking, commenting, e-mailing, sharing, encouraging, tweeting, reposting, featuring, following and supporting.
Hopefully you're ready to embark on Year Two...
[NOTE: Triple Play Thursday will resume next week. Oh, and if you’re having problems viewing my blog via Google Reader, I apologize. I’m still trying to figure out how to fix it.]
